Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics and transportation management systems, possess strong analytical skills, and be proficient in utilizing various software tools.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule freight shipments efficiently
- Utilize GPS and transportation management systems to track and monitor deliveries
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams
- Analyze data to optimize routes and improve delivery times
- Work with phone systems to provide timely updates to drivers and customers
Experience:
- Previous experience in a dispatching role within the logistics industry is preferred
- Proficiency in using GPS, transportation management systems, and other relevant software tools
- Strong analytical skills to assess data and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication skills to interact with drivers, customers, and internal teams efficiently
